Black Ivy Stories Time Capsule Website Design
As an idea for Black Ivy Stories, I designed a CMS based website with Webflow.
Black Ivy Stories was started in June 2020 as an Instagram page to share anonymous stories related to the Black student experience. In two months, the page grew to over 20,000 followers. I have worked with this team for a few projects and in June 2021 we wanted to answer a tough question: What has happened since June 2020, and is it enough? To do this we ideated a competition with Belonging at Yale, to collect and circulate stories about the Black Experience at the ivy league created between June 2020 and June 2021. As a proof of concept we tested our idea with a social media push and by building this website.
I took the website design from start to finish, webflow allowed for prototyping directly on the platform and I manged communications with the Black Ivy Stories Team through Trello.
